My name is Gerard Davenport and gldphoto.com is a site devoted to my work in photography. The site here is a work in progress and is still in its beginning stages, so I hope you'll forgive the lack of bells and whistles here. I much prefer to be behind the camera than sitting at my computer.

The following two photo galleries represent a very small example of some of my work. My specialty and passion is in sports photography and started when I spent 3 years photographing the Arkansas Razorbacks sports teams. Now I shoot local sports events all around Northwest Arkansas. More of my sports work can be found at sportshooter.com. 

As evidenced in the first gallery here, I do not shoot sports entirely. I also spend a good bit of time hiking and photographing the natural beauty of the area as well as taking portraits and portfolio material.
